Resinous Flooring Systems for Atlanta Facilities

Epoxy & urethane flooring systems provide a wide range of options, allowing us to create and provide solutions for any concrete surface and budget. These systems provide appealing, attractive floor finishes that impress customers, visitors, & employees. Glossy finishes provide light reflection that brightens the environment, contributing to safer, more productive work areas as well as reducing lighting cost. Coated/sealed floors, which resist growth of bacteria and fungi, provide easier cleaning & maintenance for more sanitary environments. These durable systems provide substrate protection against staining, everyday wear, impact, abrasion, and chemical exposure. We can do simple recoats, new toppings on old floors, completely replace old flooring, or revitalize old, worn, beat-up, or damaged concrete substrates to give customers new smooth & seamless working surfaces once again. These systems are highly customizable with large color selections, a variety of chemical resistance levels, and texture options for slip resistance. With our experience and knowledge, we have the ability to create solutions for your needs, whether it be a simple or a unique & complicated situation. Below are common types of resinous flooring.

Epoxy or Urethane Cement: Which Does Your Facility Need?

Epoxy bonds hard to concrete, resists abrasion and most chemicals, and costs less per square foot. It is the right call for warehouses, mechanical rooms, and dry production areas. Urethane cement tolerates moisture in the slab, moves with the concrete through temperature swings, and holds up to hot washdowns that can break down an epoxy floor. If your space sees steam, hot water, freezers, or organic acids, urethane cement is the safer choice.

  • Epoxy: warehouses, manufacturing floors, mechanical rooms, showrooms
  • Urethane cement: food and beverage plants, pharmaceutical facilities, commercial kitchens, coolers and freezers

Commercial Epoxy Flooring FAQs

  • How much does commercial epoxy flooring cost in Atlanta?

A basic epoxy coating on sound concrete costs less than broadcast systems, mortars, and urethane cement, which use more material and labor. Surface prep, slab condition, and square footage drive the final number, so we quote after a site visit. Read our commercial epoxy flooring cost guide or request a free quote.

  • How long will my facility be down?

It depends on the system and the size of the floor. We phase larger floors so part of your space stays in use, and we run crews nights and weekends when production cannot stop.

  • Epoxy or urethane cement for a commercial kitchen or food plant?

Urethane cement. It handles hot washdowns, thermal shock, and organic acids that break down epoxy over time.

  • Can you install over existing damaged or coated concrete?

Yes. We remove failed coatings, repair cracks and spalls, and re-profile the slab before installing. Poor prep is the most common reason floors fail early, so we do not skip it.

  • Do you offer a warranty?

Every installation carries a 1-year workmanship warranty from Extreme IFC, on top of the manufacturer material warranty from Sika, Sherwin-Williams, or the system supplier.

  • Where do you install epoxy and urethane floors?

We are based in Cumming, GA and install across metro Atlanta and the Southeast, including Gainesville, Alpharetta, Cumming, Buford, Marietta, and Gwinnett County.
