Stained & Sealed
For new concrete pours or 2” cap toppings we pour and stamp your new concrete to look like stone, brick, tile, wood planks, or solid surface. Using integral color, colored release, decorative stamps, and sealers we provide a patterned and sealed decorative surface. The different patterns and colors allow customers to customize a design that fits their individual wants. If you are interested in upgrading your plain concrete to stamped, contact us so we can help you get your desired look installed.

For concrete that is sound and doesn’t need replacing we can offer a stamped look without the cost of replacing the concrete by using concrete polymer overlays. The overlay is integral colored like concrete and secondary colors are added to stamped surface to resemble ideal pattern. The concrete will be prepped, cleaned, and then coated with the overlay bond coat. Once the bond coat has been applied the overlay material will be mixed on site and applied with gauge rakes. After the material has been laid out with gauge rake it is spiked rolled to release entrapped air and allowed to self-level and left to slightly harden for stamping process. Once the material has reached proper hardness liquid release is applied to the decorative stamping mats and the surface is stamped leaving the desired impressions into the surface. After the material has cured it is cleaned, secondary color added for antique look and sealed. If you are wanting to spruce up your old bare concrete surface call us to see your options.
Aggregate Levels
- Cream-light grinding that doesn’t pass the cream surface of the concrete. Leaves a polish that highlights concrete colors with some sand particles visible
- Salt & Pepper- Medium grinding that reveals the tips of rock with in the concrete mix. Polish highlights the sand and tips of aggregate in the concrete surface
- Exposed Aggregate- Heavy Grinding that reveals the embedded aggregate surrounded by the cream and sand.
- Large Aggregate- Very heavy grinding that reveals full pieces of the embedded aggregate surrounded by sand and cream.

Concrete Staining is one of the most economical solutions for achieving a decorative finish on a concrete surface. Once the surface has been cleaned and any contaminants or debris have been removed the surface can be stained. This may be a simple cleaning of new concrete or require grinding or mastic removal of old previously covered or sealed surface. With a wide variety of color choices a customer can pick one or a combination of color to incorporate in their new finish, as well as including simple designs, stencils, logos, or intricate borders and patterns. Once the surface is ready a special sprayer is used to apply the acetone or acid dye which penetrates deep into the surface providing rich vibrant color. The unique look of stain is how the concrete reacts and absorbs the color differently throughout the surface providing a mottled design. For outdoor applications the use of acid stains is used due to the UV stability. Acetone dyes are used for covered or indoor areas. After the acetone has evaporated or Acid Dried and it is neutralized the floor is sealed to lock in, protect, and enhance the color. Sealer options include solvent or water based Acrylic sealers or penetrating lithium silicate concrete sealers each having different benefits and gloss levels. Sealers can also be upgraded to resinous products as described in the epoxy/urethane page. Another option for staining is to use a solid color concrete sealer which seals the surface while turning it a solid color.
